3. Public Nature of Gazette & Newspaper Notices

By law, publishing a name change requires public notification in two print newspapers and publication in Part IV of the Gazette of India. Information published in the Gazette of India is a public sovereign record accessible on the Government portal (egazette.gov.in).

All electronic submissions, forms, and WhatsApp transfers are encrypted. Digital soft copies of your application are archived securely for tracking and deleted upon successful delivery of your published Gazette PDF.
